Munice Inc. (the "Company," "we," or "us") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy ("Policy") in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to protect the personal information of users ("User," "you," or "your") who use the Renight mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Policy also aims to ensure that any inquiries or complaints related to personal data are handled promptly and appropriately.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes:

  1. Membership Registration and Management: To verify registration intent, authenticate identity, confirm that the User is 14 years of age or older, maintain membership, prevent unauthorized use, and provide notices and updates.
  2. Provision of Services: a. To deliver basic and personalized services, issue contracts or invoices, verify identity and age, process payments, perform billing and settlement, and manage debt collection. b. To provide sleep tracking and analysis services.
  3. Customer Support: To verify identity, investigate and respond to inquiries, communicate findings, and provide resolution results.
  4. Marketing and Advertising: To provide customized advertisements, promotional offers, and opportunities to participate in marketing events or campaigns.
  5. Service Improvement and Development: To enhance existing features and develop new or personalized services.
  6. Use of Pseudonymized Data: To generate statistics, conduct scientific research, and preserve records for public interest purposes.
  7. Provision and improvement of optional sound-based features: provision of the optional sound-based feature (e.g. snoring detection), error handling, and quality improvement.

Article 2 (Personal Information Collected and Processed)

  1. The Company collects and processes the following categories of personal information from Users:
    1. Basic Information for Registration: ID, password, name, and email address.
    2. Contact and Identification Data: Nickname, email address, country, address (state/province, city, postal code), usage data, and advertising identifier (ADID).
    3. Usage Data Collected During Service Use:
      • Includes age, gender, sleep survey responses, sleep data, and behavioral data automatically collected during Service use.
      • Behavioral data may include IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, visit timestamps, duration of stay, device identifiers, and diagnostic data.
      • The Company may also collect information sent by your browser or mobile device when accessing the Service.
    4. Health Data: Collected via Health Connect or Apple Health integrations, including sleep duration, sleep patterns, quality indices, stage durations, sleep and wake times, sleep latency, post-wake confusion, and sleep efficiency.
    5. Customer Support Data: Relevant personal information required to verify identity or process complaints.
    6. Payment Data: The Company does not store full payment details. Payment is processed by third-party payment providers. The Company stores transaction ID, amount and currency, payment status, subscription period, partial payment method details, receipt URL, and invoice email address.
    7. Collected when using optional sound-based features: only where the User activates optional sound-based features such as Snoring Detection, the Company collects log information relating to use of that feature (such as the detection time and whether a sound presumed to be snoring was detected). The sound (audio) detected through the microphone during sleep and the analysis results thereof are processed and stored solely within the User's device, and the Company does not collect them. If the User does not activate the feature, the above information is not collected.

Article 3 (Use and Processing of Personal Information)

The Company may use personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Provision and Maintenance of Services: To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including usage monitoring for performance and security.
  2. Performance of Contractual Obligations: To perform, manage, and fulfill contracts relating to purchased products, subscriptions, or other transactions between the User and the Company.
  3. Communication with Users: To contact Users via email, phone, SMS, or other electronic means (including push notifications) to provide updates, security alerts, or important notices related to the Service.
  4. Sleep Analysis and Insights: To generate personalized sleep reports, provide insights into sleep patterns, and improve sound algorithms and service quality.
  5. Marketing and Promotions: To provide information about similar products, services, or events previously purchased or inquired about, unless the User opts out.
